Delete account and data

You can permanently delete your TrailNaut account data at any time. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Delete in the app

  1. Open TrailNaut on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm. If prompted, sign in again to verify it is you. Apple, Google, and Firebase may require recent authentication before account deletion.

What gets deleted

  • Your private Firestore data, including saved-trail sync mirrors and settings.
  • Public content you own, including trails, reviews, condition reports, and TalkTrails posts.
  • Your rider profile.
  • Local app data on your device.
  • Your TrailNaut Firebase Authentication user.

Note: Deletion cannot be undone. Once your account is removed, your public content is no longer visible to other riders. Cached copies on other devices clear as those devices sync.

Prefer to request deletion?

If you cannot access the app, email aranyoray@gmail.com from the address linked to your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm identity and complete deletion within 30 days.

Retention

We keep account data only while the account exists. After deletion, data is removed from active systems immediately. Routine backups, if any, age out on their normal cycle and are not restored to active use.
