Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TrailNaut iOS app (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TrailNaut. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

You may use TrailNaut in guest mode or sign in with Apple, Google, or email. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping sign-in credentials secure.

3. User-generated content

TrailNaut lets you post trails, reviews, condition reports, TalkTrails messages, photos, and profile details ("Content"). You retain ownership of your Content and grant TrailNaut a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display it within the App so the App can function.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to post Content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise objectionable. We may remove Content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Reporting, blocking, and moderation

Every piece of user Content can be reported from its menu, and you can block other riders so their Content is hidden from you. New posts are screened for abusive language. We review reports of objectionable content and act on them, including removing content or ejecting a user, within 24 hours where warranted.

5. Safety and assumption of risk

Mountain biking is inherently dangerous. Trail data, difficulty ratings, and condition reports contributed by the community may be inaccurate or out of date. TrailNaut does not verify Content and is not responsible for the accuracy of trail information. You ride at your own risk. Always assess conditions yourself, wear appropriate safety gear, and follow local laws and land-access rules.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the App or its backend.
  • Do not impersonate others or misrepresent trail conditions.
  • Do not post trespassing routes or content that encourages illegal access.
  • Do not upload content you do not have rights to share.

7. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or create risk for riders, the community, or the service.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. TrailNaut does not track users across other companies' apps or websites, does not use advertising networks, and does not share data with data brokers.

9. Apple standard EULA

Your license to use the App is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the App and is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the App.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms as the App evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
